Bren Donaldson : Pretty sure. But dont live here. And watch for needles.
Study With Udit : Why dont u use google map
Ian Rhein : Peaches & his dog in a pack! (That was Soooo funny, omg...people will love it!)
Yeah, we have beautiful scenery...and no wealth. Oh by the way, most to nearly all of the land here is private so actually using it to hike on will result in either the police being called or warning shots from an AR15 over your head. (Thought this might be an important thing to mention) No jobs other then low wage “full time part time” jobs aka no benefits. Housing? Only if you have 200k to spend. (And 200k is on the low, low end) Taxes? Never ending and on EVERYTHING. Drugs? The state is awash with heroin and fentanyl. (No, not to be confused with prescribed medications used properly) If you have children, they better enjoy staring at a wall...or perhaps they can “ride the green mountain railroad to a pumpkin patch”...for real? Rutland is a hole. As are Saint Johnsbury, Saint Albans, Newport, Milton, and others. You mention a privately owned family farm! Yes...family owned, the only way people actually “make it” here, wealth handed down. People are leaving Vermont in droves...for a reason. Our states main incomes would be inclusive but not limited to tourism, maple products, & the privatized prison system, (oh and Vermont is one of only two states in which you or likely your child can be represented by a public defender that never attended law school!) Great! I am a 6th generation Vermonter, I was born in Burlington, grew up in Waterbury, Moretown, Derby Line, now I live in the “beautiful North East Kingdom” where proper vocabulary is optional & covid is “fake”. I’ve been to EVERY one of these “attractions”, and people...it’s okay the first time but if you lived here you too would get bored very quickly. (Did he say Newport is a “charming” town?) Omg...smh...this is exactly what I’d expect from a guy with a poodle in his back pack. Meh. This video is so absolutely far from the truth. Newport is a cesspool, that’s the real Newport. And I’d be willing to bet the maker of this video would lose his mind after 1/4 of our 9 months of winter. “If your gps leads you on a dirt road, relax...they’ll most certainly be an officer six inches off of your bumper”...but as long as “Peaches” & his dog are happy...great! In closing, if you must move to the old, worn down, cold & darkened by 3pm Northeast...honestly, go to NewHampshire. More to do, much better standard of living, so much less in taxes, much more employment, better wages, cheaper land, yet still retains a nice country vibe. Vermont is NOT what this video makes it out to be. Even when I was young, the only real way out of Vermont was & is to go to an out of state college (In Vermont it costs more to attend instate for residents then out of state for non residents) or the military. I chose the latter. Returned to VT only to leave again for...yup...the military. As a multigenerational Vermonter....I myself cannot wait to get the hell out of this place for the last time. And never look back. A place where “yaaaaw Dude” is the normal greeting for not even the real Vermont dialect survived and competence is rare indeed.
Thanks for the “feel good puff piece” peaches! Ps: I’d suggest you make videos that truly reflect the states, not just the “trendy” “ohhh hunny boo boo” crap like in this video. So people aren’t fooled by crap like this & scrupulous realtors that would just as soon sell you whatever you want...if the price is right, including bs. Lastly, perhaps staying in the “Tampa area” would be even better!
greg abbott : Seeing Saint Marys in this video made me so happy thats where I was baptized.
Ninno DePatrick : Wow! Time for me to get a U-Haul. Wonderful video.
